JRi Developes 'Intelligent' Model for Letting Properties
L&Q Group is one of the UK's largest housing associations providing thousands of affordable homes to individuals and families.
JRi has developed an system for L&Q which matches a vacant property to a tenant on their 'waiting list' - but it also goes one step further.
As a property is filled, the new tenant's current property becomes available and the process is repeated. JRi's application analyses all possible scenarios and will suggest a tenant who will create the longest chain of moves and therefor satisfies the largest number of tenants.
By optimising the choice of tenant to fill a vacant property, L&Q will achieve much shorter average waiting times for those looking for a new home.
